Tidepool Loop Gets $6M Boost from JDRF/Helmsley
Funding from JDRF and The Helmsley Charitable Trust will grow team to deliver an FDA-regulated version of Loop
JDRF and The Helmsley Charitable Trust announced collaborative grant agreement to provide Tidepool with the funding needed to begin developing Tidepool Loop. This is a vote of confidence and displays tangible support for Tidepool’s effort to deliver an FDA-regulated version of Loop in the App Store.

The funds will be used to grow the development team. Pete Schwamb and Katie DiSimone of the Loop community have already joined the team. See the Tidepool blog post for other roles that Tidepool wants to add.
