“She is the Third Member of our Household to Have Type 1 Diabetes.”

As part of our Type 1 diabetes snapshots series, we want to share photos about a new, member to the Type 1 tribe. While a Type 1 diagnosis is never a fortunate thing, she is fortunate to have a family which is already experienced in Type 1 diabetes care. Jenna C, her mother, sent the photos in with this message:

These pictures capture different aspects of the past 10 months since our youngest was diagnosed. Even though she is the third member of our household to have Type 1 diabetes, we felt every bit like “newbies” dealing with it. There is no “easy” nor is there a “normal” with Type 1 diabetes. Thank you for giving us a chance to share our stories.

If you would like to share your photos and/or stories of life with Type 1 diabetes, please send them to submissions@selfrx.com.
