Melinda Prévost grew up in Montreal and started playing hockey at seven years old. Only four years later, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Her love for sports and interest in diabetes led her to study Clinical Exercise Physiology at Concordia University, while representing her school by continuing to play the sport she loves.
