Texting a Low

Many people with diabetes find it embarrassing to experience a low in public, and some choose not to tell those around them that hypoglycemia is even a possibility.

While medical privacy is an individual choice, we argue in this short that it can be helpful to let others around you know what to do if a low strikes:

Hypoglycemia awareness is a good thing for people with diabetes to have. It’s also a good thing for those without diabetes! Spread the word that hypos happen.
